Job summary

CIMA Aviation is seeking a skilled technician to join our team in a hands-on aviation repair role. The successful candidate will test, troubleshoot, disassemble, and assemble aircraft components per OEM data and company training, while maintaining documentation and a safe work environment.

The position requires basic hand tools, soldering skills on circuit boards, reading blueprints, and fluent English. A high school diploma is required, with an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related work experience in aviation, automotive, marine, electronics, or low-voltage repair.
• Must own a set of basic hand tools and be able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• Ability to follow written procedures accurately and work with documentation.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, disassemble, and repair aircraft components according to manuals and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and complete all forms/reports as required.
• Collaborate with coworkers and management to develop new processes and improve procedures.
• Assist with shop maintenance and routine cleaning of the work area.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external representatives, including FAA inspectors.
• Demonstrate commitment to company values and ethics.
