Baker Hughes is hiring a Lead Engineer, Systems, Product Design and Engineering in Italy to oversee Turbines configuration for new units and service projects. You will drive project coordination, collaboration with multiple departments, and external partners to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires experience in Turbomachinery engineering and strong leadership, with English fluency and 20% travel. The position includes a focus on cost control, standardization, and industrialization

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• Proven capability to coordinate Projects and GT development Programs, interact with Industrial, Energy, and O&G Customers, BH Leadership, and Teams.
• Substantial experience in Turbomachinery engineering, technology, focusing on Gas Turbines Systems and Configuration Management.
• High-level presentation, oral and written communication skills, with analytical and project management expertise.
• Excellent leadership capability and ability to make decisions with limited information.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and target orientation.

Responsabilidades

• Leading Turbines product excellence at TAEE, optimizing project phases and resources from proposal to order.
• Driving Cultural Transformation, coordinating external collaborators, and promoting growth through secondment.
• Collaborating with Turbines Platform for standardization and cost-efficiency, integrating interfaces with other Engineering Departments.
• Coordinating resolution of major issues related to product cost, industrialization, and standardization, fostering continuous development with various teams.
• Ensuring flawless project execution with Gas Technology Equipment Engineering, focusing on productivity and on-time delivery.
• Coordinating with Commercials and Applications, aligning tasks with existing configurations, updating Turbines material, and inspiring the team for new challenges.

The Turbines Configuration Manager oversees selection and management of Turbines Configuration for New Units and Service Projects. This role involves managing engineering activities, collaborating with various teams, and facilitating communication with external collaborators. The goal is to contribute to a diverse and attractive technology portfolio, transforming industry practices and ensuring successful project execution within the growing Turbines and Axial Expanders Engineering team.

As a GT Product Configuration Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading Turbines product excellence at TAEE (Turbines and Axial Expanders Organization), optimizing project phases and resources from proposal to order.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a bachelor’s in engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• Have proven capability to coordinate Projects and GT development Programs, interact with Industrial, Energy, and O&G Customers, BH Leadership, and Teams.
• Have substantial experience in Turbomachinery engineering, technology, focusing on Gas Turbines Systems and Configuration Management.

• Be target-orientated, responsible and have an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Be fluent in English, have an EU work permit, and available for 20% travel.

For Italy:The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 43,600 To 70,000.

"The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay".
