Job summary

Thales Alenia Space, a joint venture of Thales and Leonardo, seeks a System Engineering professional in Roma to analyse customer needs and formalise specifications for complex space systems.

You will contribute to architecture, integration, verification and validation tests, and demonstrate solutions to clients, with opportunities to lead projects and grow within the group.

The role requires a Master’s degree in engineering, experience in systems, IVVQ, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in software and/or hardware, systems engineering and IVVQ activities.
• Desire to continuously update expertise and design innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and understand customer needs through studies, simulations, mock-ups, models, prototypes.
• Formalise specifications and architecture used to propose the best solution to clients.
• Prepare and carry out integration, verification and validation tests.
• Define test plans and procedures for system level testing.
• Ensure the technical integration and coherence of the system design, interfaces, and performances.
• Design the architecture of the command and control system.
• Demonstrate the solution to the customer.

• You have graduated with a Master’s degree of an Engineering School (Electronics, Aeronautical/Space Engineering, Computer Science, …) or in University;
• You have a proven experience in Software and/or Hardware, Systems Engineering and IVVQ activities;

• You want to strengthen your expertise in one of the following areas: conception, requirement management, development, test, integration or validation;
