Plan International España cerca un Grants Finance Officer per supportare ITNO (Italia). Sarai responsabile della gestione finanziaria dei progetti formulati e implementati da Plan Italia, collaborando con uffici paese e partner locali per garantire una gestione finanziaria accurata e conforme.

Principali responsabilità includono monitoraggio dell’esecuzione, preparazione di budget e report, rispetto delle norme dei donatori e coordinamento tra uffici e partner.

Competenze

• Laurea in Economia/Management o campo affine.
• Master è un plus.
• Minimo 5 anni in ruolo analogo nel terzo settore.
• Conoscenza di fonti di finanziamento e norme dei donatori.
• Esperienza con progetti finanziati da AICS/EU DG ECHO.

Mansioni

• Monitorare l’esecuzione finanziaria dei progetti rispetto al budget approvato.
• Coordinare con l’area Operations per la conformità amministrativa e i requisiti del donatore.
• Preparare e mantenere formati di budget per spesa e reporting donatori.
• Gestire i flussi informativi tra partner e Plan International nel rispetto delle norme.
• Supervisionare la redazione dei report finanziari, inclusi quelli in italiano.
• Preparare budget in collaborazione con staff amministrativo e di programma.
• Condurre missioni di coordinamento e monitoraggio nei Paesi di implementazione.

Descrizione Lavoro - Grants Finance Officer

Your mission

Plan International is looking for a Grants Finance Officer to join the Grants Finance team supportingITNO (Italy). The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial management of projects formulated and implemented by Plan Italia, working closely with country offices and local partners to ensure sound and compliant financial management.

Key responsibilities

• Regularly monitor the overall financial execution of each project against approved proposal budgets
• Coordinate with and support the Operations area in the review and regulatory compliance of administrative documentation, ensuring adherence to donor requirements and internal procedures
• Prepare and maintain budget formats used to record expenditure and donor reporting
• Support and coordinate the administrative information flow from project partners, ensuring compliance with donor rules and procedures, and guarantee smooth administrative information flow within Plan International
• Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including those drafted in Italian, and organize and prepare all necessary supporting documentation
• Prepare budgets in collaboration with Plan International's administrative and programme staff
• Carry out coordination and monitoring missions in the countries where projects are implemented

Your profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Cooperation, or a related field
• A Master's degree is a plus
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Prior experience in the third sector is essential
• Excellent command of English and good command of French
• Solid knowledge of funding sources and the procedures/regulations of major institutional donors
• Experience with projects funded by AICS and the European Commission (particularly DG ECHO)
• At least 3 years' experience in financial and administrative management of AICS-funded projects
• Experience using monitoring and evaluation tools
• Experience preparing financial reports and managing all administrative and procedural aspects related to compliance with institutional donor guidelines
• Excellent command of the Office suite and Excel, and familiarity with key IT tools
• Experience with Navision ERP and/or reports managed or extracted from SAP is an asset
• Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure while meeting deadlines
• Willingness to travel on missions abroad
