Amazon Italia Logistica S.R.L. is seeking an Area/Shift Manager in Italy to lead a large, diverse team and ensure the area keeps pace with demand. You will gain hands-on experience in global operations while driving productivity and addressing challenges alongside colleagues.

In this hands‑on role, you’ll learn about the complexity of operations at a global business and what it takes to make everything run seamlessly. While you implement your team’s approach to drive productivity, you’ll also work closely with your colleagues to address challenges, which means no two days will be the same.


The applicable collective agreement for this role is Logistics.


The position is classified at level 2 or above, depending on the candidate’s skills, competences and experience.


The minimum gross annual base salary for this position is listed below. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full‑time basis. For part‑time hours, the salary will be pro‑rated.


Amazon reserves the right to offer a higher salary and/or level, depending on the candidate's skills, competencies, and experience. Amazon's package may include a sign on payment. In addition, the candidate may be eligible to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA.


Your recruiting team will share final salary and any restricted stock unit scheme if applicable, depending on skills and requirements.


In addition to statutory benefits, and those applicable to the relevant CBA, company supplementary benefits may apply subject to further terms.


Italy - 38,200 EUR gross annually.


Key job responsibilities

A day in the life

You’ll work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your main focus will be to maintain safety standards within your team and across your site. You’ll also monitor and maintain process efficiency. Your days will always include prioritising routine team management and daily operational tasks, alongside other tasks like individual escalations, process improvement work and wide-scale operational contingency planning.


Being a key part of the operations team involves working with colleagues in other teams and external partners to make sure we stay on track to meet our customer demands and targets. This will involve analysing data and performance metrics with leaders in your business area, as well as discussing the operational pros and cons of technical improvements with engineers.


Basic Qualifications


  • Completed University degree before the start date OR graduated within the last 24 months

  • Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and local language

  • Relevant experience in performing data analysis
