IOM - UN Migration in Rome is seeking an experienced Procurement/Supply Chain professional to support Italy and Malta operations. The role focuses on end-to-end procurement, vendor management and ensuring UN procurement compliance.

You will supervise staff, prepare tender documents, monitor requisitions and coordinate with Finance for timely payments. Fluency in English and Italian is required, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and ethics.

Formación

• Experience in procurement and logistics with vendors/service providers.
• Experience with asset management process.
• Experience with IOM/UN Procurement and Logistics Rules and Procedures is an advantage.
• Experience working in an International Organisation an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Receive and consolidate procurement requisitions and verify information.
• Assist supervisors in more complex, high-value purchases.
• Prepare tender documents, solicit bids and quotations; prepare bid analyses and assist in evaluation.
• Monitor status of open requisitions and coordinate timely delivery of goods/services.
• Review vendor invoices and coordinate with Finance for timely payments.
• Create and maintain records; prepare periodic reports highlighting issues.
• Conduct market surveys to identify potential suppliers and evaluate quality/prices/services.
• Monitor contractual agreements and coordinate with Finance for payments of utilities.
• Provide briefing and guidance on procurement procedures.
• Perform supply chain tasks related to property, asset management, warehousing, and transportation.
• Coordinate fleet operations and vehicle maintenance.
• Provide training to junior SCM staff.
