Futron is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to support NAVFAC EURAFCENT planning, design, and construction across Italy and Bahrain. The role focuses on MILCON, renovation, and facilities development for DoD customers, requiring collaboration with architects and project managers to deliver safe, code-compliant structural solutions.

Ideal candidates hold an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree with 5+ years of structural experience; a PE license is preferred.

Competenze

• U.S. Citizen required.
• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of professional structural engineering experience.
• PE license in Civil Engineering (Structural) preferred.
• Experience with DoD NAVFAC criteria, IBC, ASCE 7, and related standards.

Mansioni

• Provide structural engineering support for planning, design, construction, renovation, and maintenance of military facilities.
• Perform structural analysis and design for new construction and renovations.
• Design structural systems including concrete, steel, timber, foundations, and lateral systems.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, reports, and specifications.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to ensure integrated designs.
• Review submittals and construction documents for code compliance and constructability.
• Ensure compliance with DoD, NAVFAC, federal, and international codes and criteria.
• Participate in design reviews, site visits, and project meetings.
• Provide engineering recommendations for facility assessments and renovations.
• Document technical analyses and project deliverables.
• Support budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance during the lifecycle.
