**Who we are:**Prysmian is a **global cabling solutions provider** leading the **energy transition** and **digital transformation**.Everyone at Prysmian has the potential to make their mark; because whatever you do, wherever you are based, you will be part of a company that is helping transform the world around us**Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:**Inside our HQ Purchasing team, we are looking for a Global Senior Buyer - Raw Materials.In this role, you will:* Negotiate with key suppliers defining the appropriate conditions for maximizing value creation for the Group* Lead and support commodity-related initiatives at regional/local level, in cooperation with the relevant internal stakeholders (GCL, Supply Chain, R&D, Sales, Quality, etc.)You will also:* Ensure design and execution of the sourcing strategies and sourcing events in cooperation and alignment with, where appointed, Global Commodity Leaders, local purchasing teams and the other key internal stakeholders* Negotiate contracts and any other agreements with suppliers that are functional to the sourcing strategy in place* Govern the supply base and suppliers’ performance (including service level, quality, risk and compliance monitoring), ensuring the appropriate supplier selection, qualification, development and overall supplier management practices are in place.
