Chiesi Research & Development is seeking a Senior Global Patient Safety Physician to provide safety-scientific leadership for safety surveillance and risk management across development and marketed products. The role requires medical expertise and strategic direction to ensure proactive evaluation of safety data.

The position offers remote or hybrid work within Europe, with a minimum salary framework and a comprehensive benefits package.

Competenze

• Medical degree (MD) required.
• Minimum 5 years as a safety physician in pharma or CRO.
• Proven leadership of global safety portfolios.
• Expertise in global PV regulations and governance.
• Experience across multiple product modalities and therapeutic areas.

Mansioni

• Develop Safety Science strategy and conduct safety surveillance for assigned products.
• Lead cross-functional safety activities with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Quality.
• Oversee safety data access and risk management aligned with regulatory expectations.
• Contribute to safety evaluations using diverse data sources for decision making.
• Lead regulatory interactions and inspections and support due diligence when needed.
