Job summary

Canonical Ltd. is seeking a versatile Project Manager to drive delivery of complex software projects in a remote-first, international setting.

You will manage scope, schedules, and resources while engaging with global customers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes. The role requires strong communication in English, a technical background, and experience with Linux/open-source technologies, cloud computing, and distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading enterprise IT/software projects.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration across global teams.
• PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage enterprise IT projects, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget.
• Serve as main point of contact for customers, leading status meetings and reviews.
• Identify and mitigate risks, implementing proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
• Collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to manage dependencies and drive success.
• Advocate for Canonical's technologies and best practices to help customers achieve goals.
