Sms Group in Milano, Lombardia, is seeking an Automation Engineer (Level 1) to develop software for plant control, take over Level 1 programming, run tests and perform functional commissioning at customer sites. You will collaborate with global teams to ensure smooth delivery and high quality handovers.

This hands-on role requires strong PLC experience (S7-TIA, S7-400), familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff systems, HMI platforms like WinCC, and willingness to travel worldwide.

Competenze

• Engineering degree in Electronic, Automation, Industrial Engineering or CS.
• Strong PLC programming experience with S7-TIA and S7-400.
• Experience with Rockwell, ControlLogix, Siemens TIA Portal and Beckhoff TwinCAT.
• Knowledge of HMI platforms, Siemens SIMATIC WinCC.
