Who You Are

Our Global Order Handling team has a strong presence across multiple factories and sales offices worldwide. As a support organization, we are customer focused, reliable and respond quickly. As a Team Lead you will manage teams located in different geographical areas, securing team performance and meeting future customer needs. You will focus on customer interaction and internal alignment with the GKA team.

About The Job

The responsibility of the Team Lead for the Order Handling Department is to secure that the team performs the following duties:

  • Securing outstanding customer interaction and support
  • Customer order entry, creating order confirmations with accurate delivery dates
  • Facilitating order changes
  • Providing updates on order status
  • Coordinating with various departments and suppliers for on‑time delivery, finding solutions or alternatives when necessary, and making proactive decisions
  • Preparing necessary documents and information for internal and external purposes
  • Conducting regular meetings for supply scope clarification and order follow‑up
  • Order registration in the ERP system, reverting OA with validated price and delivery date
  • Contacting sales company/customer to prepare shipping per contract articles
  • Coordinating shipping issues and assisting Finance to issue invoices after delivery
  • Being the main operational contact for internal customers, freight forwarders and other stakeholders, facilitating communication and coordination
  • Seeking optimization of the entire order‑delivery process
What You Know

Teamwork and flexibility are key competencies, supported by a strong "Customer care" approach and fluent English. Data management and traceability attitudes are mandatory in a paperless environment. Team building and flexibility are also crucial aspects of the role.

You Have
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant order handling experience and shipping within Europe and the rest of the world (truck‑sea‑air)
  • Knowledge of Movex (One4al) is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows environments and the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Good command of written and spoken English
