Job summary

Generali is seeking an experienced professional to join the Group Accounting Policies & IFRS Reporting team in Italy. You will define and implement group accounting policies, support IFRS reporting processes, and drive continuous improvement in a truly international environment.

The role requires a Master’s in Accounting or Finance, professional qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CPA a plus), 5–7 years of relevant experience, and fluent English. Italian is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or equivalent.
• ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent is a plus.
• 5–7 years of professional accounting, financial reporting or technical accounting experience.
• Experience in multinational groups, financial institutions, insurers or listed entities is valued.
• Fluent English required; Italian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to definition, maintenance and evolution of Group Accounting Policies and related guidelines in compliance with IFRS.
• Monitor the impact of new IFRS standards and regulatory developments on the Group's financial reporting.
• Provide technical accounting support and guidance on IFRS issues to Group Business Units.
• Prepare accounting memoranda, position papers, and policy documents.
• Support IFRS 17 reporting processes and related accounting policies.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory stakeholders.
• Deliver training sessions and travel across Generali units as needed.
