Syngenta Group seeks a Data Governance Lead for its Biologicals Research team. You will establish, embed, and continually improve governance across five global R&D sites to ensure FAIR, high-quality data guiding trusted decisions.

You will connect researchers with cross-functional governance forums, balancing global consistency and local needs while driving adoption with scientists and digital teams. This role shapes data standards across a major bioscience organization.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing data governance and data quality programs.
• Knowledge of metadata, master/reference data, or related data-management practices.
• Ability to translate governance concepts into simple processes for scientific teams.
• Experience working with researchers, digital/IT teams, data scientists, and senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Ability to operate across cultures and time zones.

Responsabilités

• Lead the implementation of data governance within Biologicals Research.
• Define and maintain data standards for critical assets.
• Champion FAIR data principles across design, capture, storage, analysis, sharing, and reuse.
• Ensure clear data ownership and accountability across Biologicals Research.
• Monitor data quality and coordinate remediation of gaps.
• Collaborate with scientists and digital teams to enable governed data.
• Represent Biologicals Research in cross-functional governance forums.
• Coordinate adoption across global sites.
• Track governance maturity, risks, and value, with transparent reporting.
