We’re actively recruiting a Geotechnical Laboratory and Construction Site Technician for a long-term position in Lenta (VC), Italy.

Tecno Piemonte Spa is now part of the Apave Group, providing testing and certification services in civil engineering and environmental sectors.

Day-to-day responsibilities
  • Perform specialized soil and rock tests in the laboratory and on site, recording values on test sheets.
  • Prepare official sampling reports and manage sample data.
  • Support laboratory organizational flow: material acceptance, registration, collection, and transportation to construction sites; manage warehouse and archive samples on site.
  • Process data and prepare test reports/certificates with graphics and documentation.
Contract type and availability

Fixed‑term contract with a view to a permanent position. Full‑time, Monday through Friday (only occasionally weekends or night shifts).

Qualifications
  • Degree in technical or scientific disciplines.
  • Previous experience preferred.
  • Willingness to perform manual labor and use tools and testing machines.
  • Versatility and aptitude for learning instrumental techniques and international standards.
  • Ability to process data, prepare periodic reports, and manage documents.
  • Basic computer skills (Windows, Office, especially Excel).
  • Capacity to work independently in planning and execution phases.
  • Communication skills and good interpersonal skills for client relationships.
  • Flexibility in working hours based on laboratory or construction site needs.
  • Category B driving license.
