The Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II invites applications for a recognised researcher track in mathematics, focusing on variational problems related to capillarity models and energy functionals with mixed interactions.
Under Prof. Anna Verde, in the Department of Mathematics and Applications, the project seeks to develop theoretical tools to analyze the existence and properties of optimal configurations under geometric and physical constraints.

The project focuses on the study of variational problems related to capillarity models and energy functionals with different interaction components. The goal is to develop theoretical tools to analyze the existence and properties of optimal configurations in the presence of suitable geometric and physical constraints. Particular attention will be devoted to the study of possible applications to models combining local and non-local effects. The research program is linked to the project "000022_BUDGET_ECONOMICO_RICERCA_2026" under the scientific supervision of Prof. Anna Verde, at the Department of Mathematics and Applications "R. Caccioppoli".
