The Sales & Marketing division of Randstad Professional, specializing in the search and selection of Middle and Senior Management, for an important company operating in the Hospitality sector, is looking for a :

General Manager

The resource, reporting directly to the ownership, will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the structure, ensuring service excellence, profitability, and competitive positioning in the market. In particular, they will be responsible for :

  • Drive business growth and profitability by identifying new revenue streams and developing business plans to maximize guest engagement and market share.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure strong competitive positioning.
  • Lead and manage the Executive Committee and Leadership teams, promoting accountability, cohesion, and high performance.
  • Cultivate strong owner relations, providing regular updates on operational activities, key metrics (guest / employee), and overall hotel performance.
  • Stay informed on industry and market trends and monitor competitor strengths / weaknesses.
  • Ensure budget adherence and take necessary actions to maximize profitability and ROI for owners.
  • Oversee the execution of learning, development, and succession plans.
  • Maintain excellence in service delivery and ensure consistent adherence to brand standards across all hotel functions.
  • Enhance brand presence in the community by proactively creating and leveraging a strong network of stakeholders, partners, and influencers.
  • Analyze business data (market share, financial performance, inventory, engagement) and respond proactively to changes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, safety, operations, and labor standards and conduct company audits.
  • Foster a strong culture of respect, equality, and fairness.
  • Engage with guests and leaders regularly to gauge satisfaction and address gaps.
Requirements and Skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related disciplines.
  • 6–8 years of experience in similar managerial roles in the luxury hospitality sector.
  • Proven experience in opening, relaunching or repositioning hotel properties.
  • Solid strategic leadership and organizational development skills, with an aptitude for building high-performance teams.
  • Excellent financial analysis, budgeting and operational management skills.
