A fashion company in Sgonico, Italy, is seeking a Garment Technical Executive to manage technical documentation and ensure production readiness. The role involves preparing technical files, coordinating with teams, and improving workflows. The Garment Technical Executive is responsible for supporting the pattern–making and production preparation processes by compiling accurate technical documentation. This role ensures that every approved style is technically ready for bulk production, with precise patterns, specifications, and quality points consolidated into a complete technical file.
Prepare and update technical drawings for each style using the approved digital format.
Coordinate with the Pattern Maker to collect and verify all measurements required for sample and bulk production.
Compile all relevant technical data – including style information, pictures, technical drawings, size specifications, BOM, and quality points – into the official Style File.
Cross–check data between Toile, Proto, Test Cut, Size Spec, and Pattern before production to ensure accuracy.
Define key quality control points for each style.
Support the Pre‑Production Meeting (PPM) by explaining production process details and quality checkpoints to the production team.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date digital archives of all technical files, patterns, and specification sheets.
Ensure file naming conventions and version control systems are consistently applied.
Coordinate with related departments (Design, Merchandising, Production, and QC) to ensure alignment and traceability throughout the product development process.
Proactively identify and propose improvements to technical workflows and documentation processes.
Report challenges or technical issues promptly and assist in developing effective solutions.
Perform any other duties or special assignments as required by the supervisor.
