Teaching may include lectures, tutorials, support in any other forms of student instruction, grading and evaluation of papers and evaluation of final exams, on the subjects and topics covered by the contract. Teaching for up to 120 hours is required, according to university regulations.

Offer Description

The operations to be performed in accordance with the contractual assignment include teaching and research duties. The annual working hours are established by current legislation and the University regulations. Regarding research, the research focus is on topics specific to the ECON-02/A scientific discipline and, specifically, on phenomena associated with the living conditions of immigrants (integration, employment, education, time management, and well-being). Further research will focus on issues related to public perceptions and attitudes toward immigration and asylum in the OECD countries. The scientific productivity objectives include publishing in leading national and international scientific journals and participation in national and international conferences, in line with the objectives approved by the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Parma on April 30th, 2013, as amended. The researcher's overall teaching commitment will focus primarily on core courses in economics offered by the Department of Economics and Management.
