A leading consultancy in the Food & Beverage industry is seeking an experienced SAP BTP Functional Consultant to help transition from SAP Process Orchestration to SAP Business Technology Platform. The role requires analyzing the current system, defining a migration roadmap, and collaborating with senior stakeholders. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years in SAP BTP, a proven background in SAP S/4HANA, and be fluent in Italian, with some travel to Verona required.

Location: Hybrid – Remote with occasional travel to Verona, Italy
Duration: 6 months + extensions

Overview

Our client, a leading organisation within the Food & Beverage industry, is seeking an experienced SAP BTP Functional Consultant to support their transition from SAP Process Orchestration (PO) to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

This role will involve assessing the current landscape, defining a clear migration path, identifying required skills and resources, and evaluating the potential business and economic outcomes of the migration.

The consultant will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, including internal IT leadership, to ensure a smooth and strategic transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse the client’s current SAP PO landscape and propose a roadmap for migration to SAP BTP.
• Define required functional and technical skills needed for successful project execution.
• Evaluate and communicate the economic and operational benefits of the proposed migration.
• Work alongside internal teams and leadership to shape the migration strategy and implementation plan.
• Provide functional expertise across SAP BTP, ensuring alignment with S/4HANA systems.
• Act as a trusted advisor, guiding the organisation through best practices and innovation opportunities within SAP BTP.

Key Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on functional experience in SAP BTP.
• Proven background in SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience within the Food & Beverage industry highly desirable.
• Fluent Italian speaker – both written and verbal communication required.
• Ability and willingness to travel to Verona as needed.
• Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills.
