A leading language solutions provider in Rome is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain integrated solutions. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of software development experience, proficient in Node.js and React, and possess strong SQL knowledge. Full Stack Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full stack features across backend services and frontend interfaces
• Build and evolve internal tools and platforms used across the company
• Own features end‑to‑end, from technical design to production
• Contribute to automation and orchestration systems that improve operational efficiency
• Participate in code reviews—both giving and receiving thoughtful feedback
• Write tests and take code quality seriously (without being dogmatic about it)
• Collaborate with teammates across engineering, product, and operations
• Write clear technical documentation that others can actually use

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in full stack software development
• Proficiency in Node.js (TypeScript and JavaScript) on the backend
• Proficiency in React and solid fundamentals in frontend development (HTML, CSS, browser APIs)
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MySQL)
• Solid understanding of server‑side web application architectures
• Comfortable working with Docker and containerized environments
• Proficiency in Git and GitHub‑based workflows
• Enjoys owning problems end‑to‑end and will go out of their way to acquire whatever knowledge it takes to get the job done
• Excellent communication skills—able to talk about technical topics with non‑technical people clearly and without condescension

Nice to Have

• Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Docker Swarm or Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS services (especially S3, Lambda, SQS, EC2)
• Knowledge of Test‑Driven Development principles
• Experience with the Koa web framework
• Linux shell scripting and Unix system administration
