Full-stack Software Engineer - Construction Tech Platform - start-up - Turin, Italy

We’ve partnered with a fast-growing startup in Turin that’s revolutionizing the construction industry with cutting-edge software.

We’re looking for a Full-stack Software Engineer to help shape the technical backbone of their product. You’ll work across the stack, from user-facing features to backend architecture, data modeling, and integrations. In a small, fast-moving team, your work will have direct impact on both product direction and user experience.

What You’ll Do

• Build and optimize a fast, scalable backend
• Develop and maintain type-safe APIs with Next.js and TypeScript
• Design and manage PostgreSQL data models using Drizzle ORM
• Streamline API routes, queries, and database schemas for performance and scalability
• Create reusable, polished front-end components
• Develop modern React interfaces with Radix UI, Tailwind CSS, and React Query
• Own features end-to-end, from design to deployment
• Ensure top-notch performance, accessibility, and developer experience

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with React (v19), Next.js App Router, and Tailwind CSS
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Familiarity with Git, CI / CD (GitHub Actions), and cloud platforms (Vercel, AWS EC2 / S3)
• A proactive problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building from scratch
• 1+ years of professional experience or a Computer Science background
• Passion for writing clean, reusable, and high-performance code

Bonus Points

• Experience with Three.js or 3D / WebGL
• Working with WebSockets (Socket.IO, ws, or native)
• Experience with email services (SendGrid, Resend, Postmark, Nodemailer)
• Familiarity with authentication systems (Clerk, NextAuth)
