Alpitronic is seeking a skilled full‑stack software engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable backend services with PHP and Laravel, and to craft intuitive frontend features with Vue.js and Vuetify. You will own architecture decisions, implement robust APIs, and contribute to performance improvements.

Based in Bolzano, you will collaborate with product owners, engineers, and QA, participate in sprint activities, and mentor junior developers while promoting clean code, SOLID principles

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel, including Eloquent ORM, queues, and service providers.
• Strong front-end experience with Vue.js; Vuetify desirable.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB data modelling and performance tuning.
• Experience with Git, modern development workflows and CI/CD.
• Independent, solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly motivated team player with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Italian and/or German is an advantage.

Mansioni

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using PHP and Laravel, taking ownership of the process from architecture and design to deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Build and enhance intuitive and user-friendly front-end features using Vue.js and Vuetify, collaborating closely with the Product Owner to deliver polished, accessible and high-performance user experiences.
• Design, model and optimise data storage solutions across PostgreSQL and MongoDB, ensuring efficient schema design, indexing strategies and query performance as the platform scales.
• Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure (including EC2 and S3) and on-premises environments to ensure reliability, security and consistent deployment processes across all systems.
• Promote clean architecture and SOLID principles throughout the codebase to contribute to code quality, through peer reviews, technical discussions and the implementation of best practices.
• Advocate for a Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach by creating comprehensive unit, integration and end-to-end tests to ensure system stability and enable frequent, reliable releases.
• Identify, analyse and resolve performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges in application code and infrastructure to proactively drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate actively in sprint planning, design workshops and retrospectives, while mentoring junior developers and contributing to the evolution of engineering standards and best practices.
