RINA is currently recruiting for a Full Stack Developer to join its office in Naples/Rome within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division.

Mission

The Full Stack Developer will play a crucial role in the full development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.

Key Accountabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and other developers, to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Design and develop responsive and intuitive websites using a variety of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Implement and maintain web applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate design mockups into interactive web pages.
  • Conduct thorough testing of websites and web applications to identify and resolve issues before deployment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development practices.
  • Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
Qualifications
  • Good knowledge of C# and the .NET framework, with the ability to develop simple REST APIs (CRUD) using ASP.NET Core.
  • Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, and familiarity with at least one modern frontend framework: Angular or React. Familiarity with the fundamentals of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL) and basic SQL query writing.
  • Ability to use Git for daily version control operations (commit, branch, merge, pull request) and familiarity with platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.
  • Understanding of core concepts related to RESTful APIs and data exchange formats such as JSON. Good knowledge of responsive design principles and experience with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap.
  • Introductory understanding of CI/CD concepts and exposure to tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps (even at a theoretical level).
  • Awareness of common web security vulnerabilities (SQL injection, XSS) and basic best practices for securing applications.
