Job summary

TSMG is seeking a Driver/Pilot to plan, execute, and complete driving routes across Europe to support automotive field data collection. The role requires disciplined planning, route strategy, daily reporting, and basic system troubleshooting.

The position requires FT1 Driver Certification before start, a valid EU license, 4–5 years of licensed driving, and a safety-focused mindset. You will work with Data Annotators and reporting teams to ensure accurate logs and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• FT1 or equivalent Driver Certification (must be completed before start).
• Valid EU driver's license with a clean record; license valid across EU preferred.
• 4–5 years of licensed driving experience with a clean record.
• Ability to drive long routes under varying conditions.
• Professional discipline, safety-focused mindset, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to complete detailed logs and written reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan routes strategically to meet collection objectives within time and weather constraints.
• Execute driving routes and update plans as conditions change; propose optimized alternatives.
• Perform daily vehicle, camera, and equipment readiness checks.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, including system power checks and reboots.
• Maintain accurate reporting logs: mileage, time, incidents, notes.
• Collaborate with Data Annotators and automation teams to resolve issues.
• Submit daily written reports with deviations and improvements.
• Communicate risks and delays proactively to management.
• Handle equipment professionally and secure storage of gear and files.
