Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel in Taormina, is seeking a distinguished Door Attendant to welcome guests with warmth and exceptional presence.

You will greet arrivals, open doors, assist with umbrellas, and coordinate taxis and valet parking, ensuring a seamless first impression for every guest.

Fluency in Italian and English, a polished grooming, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel door or guest service role.
• Charismatic presence, warm posture, and high standards of personal grooming.
• Excellent communication and observational skills.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Ability to work outdoors under various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests at the hotel main entrance, opening doors, offering umbrellas, and extending a warm welcome.
• Coordinate vehicle arrivals, taxis, private transfers, and valet parking in an organized manner.
• Communicate arrival details immediately to the Front Office and Concierge teams to ensure personalized guest reception.
• Maintain the hotel entrance, driveway, and portico area pristine and uncluttered.
• Offer general assistance, local directions, and security oversight at the property entryway.

At Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel, we are looking for a distinguished Door Attendant, who will deliver an iconic, memorable welcome to every guest arriving at our property.
