Un'agenzia di head hunting cerca un Core & Edge specialist a Milano per gestire l'infrastruttura di rete per le Olimpiadi 2026. Richiesta esperienza di almeno 5 anni in consulenza di rete e abilità nella progettazione di architetture complesse. Offerta di collaborazione freelance, posizione full-time in sede e salario commisurato all'esperienza.

Overview

SGB Holding ICT Division, Head Hunting Company focused on Innovation Technology & Digitalization, is looking for a brilliant Core & Edge specialist who will join the Infrastructure Teams of a global communication technology software and services firm.

Job Description

The selected candidate will join a leading Juniper Networks partner, responsible for managing the entire network infrastructure for the Milan–Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation Leadership: Oversee and actively support deployment activities—from hardware roll-out and configuration to integration with security and monitoring systems.
• Operational Excellence: Provide expert guidance and hands-on support to operations teams to maintain network stability, performance, and security during Games-time operations.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate closely with venue managers, engineering teams, service providers, and Games operations leadership to align designs and deployments with event timelines and evolving requirements.
• Issue Resolution: Act on complex network incidents, ensuring rapid diagnosis and resolution to protect critical event services.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in enterprise networking consulting or solution delivery, ideally for large-scale or high-availability environments (e.g., sports events, broadcast, or public venues).
• Proven experience designing and implementing Core & Edge networks, SD-WAN, LAN / WLAN, and security solutions.
• Strong knowledge of network monitoring, incident management, and operational support processes.
• Ability to lead and coordinate multi-vendor and cross-functional teams in time-critical projects.
• Excellent communication skills to interface effectively with technical teams and senior event stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting international events (sports, entertainment, or similar).
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).
• Familiarity with Olympic Games technology delivery models and operational constraints.

Technical Competencies

• Deep understanding of Core & Edge network architecture, WiFi concepts, and security integration.
• Proficiency with network monitoring and management tools.
• Ability to create and interpret network diagrams, documentation, and operational playbooks.
