A leading language and technology solutions provider is seeking a Freelance Audio Annotator for a remote role based in Italy. As an Audio Annotator, you will listen to audio recordings in Italian and provide detailed, accurate annotations. Ideal candidates should be fluent in Italian and have advanced English skills. The position offers flexible scheduling with a minimum weekly availability of 20 hours. This is a contract role, with an expected project duration until the end of December 2025.

DataForce by TransPerfect is looking for freelance Italian Annotators in Italy to be part of an innovative project related to Artificial Intelligence.

As an Audio Annotator, you will be responsible for listening to short audio recordings in Italian to generate detailed, accurate, and creative descriptions of human speech attributes (such as voice characteristics, delivery style‑tone, speed, intonation, pace, pronunciation, apparent gender, age range, or accent, etc.).

The ideal candidate should have idiomatic fluency in French (France), advanced level of English and excellent listening and language skills; great attention to detail; and a strong command of grammar rules.

Job requirements

• Idiomatic fluency in Italian (Italy).
• Advanced English.
• Be located in Italy.
• Excellent writing and spelling/grammar skills in Italian.
• Pass an audio annotation test (estimated duration is 25 minutes).
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
• Ability to follow detailed project guidelines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver error‑free work.
• Familiarity with annotation/transcription online tools is preferred.
