A leading technology company in Italy is seeking a highly skilled FPGA Engineer to join their electronic design team focused on advanced solutions for the defense sector. The successful candidate will design, develop, and validate FPGA modules, implement digital algorithms in VHDL/Verilog, and collaborate with System Engineering teams to define requirements. This role entails integration and testing of FPGA systems as well as preparation of technical documentation according to industry standards.

• Design, develop, and validate FPGA modules for complex electronic systems.
• Implement digital algorithms in VHDL/Verilog.
• Perform simulation, synthesis, place & route, and timing analysis.
• Integrate and test FPGA systems on hardware platforms.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, development, and validation of FPGA modules for complex electronic systems.
• Implementation of digital algorithms in VHDL/Verilog.
• Simulation, synthesis, place & route, and timing analysis of the designed logic.
• Integration and testing of FPGA systems on real hardware platforms.
• Preparation of technical documentation according to defense industry standards.
• Collaboration with System Engineering teams for defining functional requirements and interfaces.
• Support for integration and verification activities in laboratories or testing centers.
