Job summary

Nestlé Purina Italy is seeking a Food Safety Specialist to join the Portogruaro Plant start-up project, bringing microbiological expertise and a hands-on approach to developing and implementing Food Safety standards across the manufacturing process.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Factory Quality and other stakeholders to validate processes, ensure hygienic design, and drive continuous improvement throughout all project phases.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Food Safety or Quality within a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Strong Food Safety expertise and microbiological background with a project-oriented mindset and cross-functional collaboration.
• Italian and English language fluency is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational standards across Food Safety areas including hygiene and allergen management.
• Provide technical support across processes in Food Safety areas.
• Contribute to design and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering on hygienic design topics.
• Contribute to microbiological validation activities.
• Support product and process validation with Factory Quality and stakeholders.
• Assist data collection and documentation for validation activities.
• Help ensure Food Safety requirements throughout start-up project development.
