A leading cruise company is seeking a Food & Beverage Director to oversee operations onboard. You will manage high-volume culinary and beverage services, ensuring compliance with health standards while leading a dynamic team. Ideal candidates will possess significant experience in multi-outlet management within the hospitality sector and fluency in English and Italian. This is a full-time position based in Genova.

Competenze

  • 5-7 years of experience in F&B Management in multi-outlet at least 4* chains or cruise vessels.
  • C1 proficiency in English and Italian; a third language at B2.
  • Management-level knowledge of USPH and HACCP standards.

Food and Beverage Director

The Food & Beverage Director oversees the planning, execution and delivery of the entire Food & Beverage operation cycle onboard. The Food & Beverage Director oversees Food & Beverage NPS, OBR, and eNPS while ensuring sanitation standards are met. He manages high‑volume culinary and beverage operations across all outlets, delivering a high‑quality experience to guests and crew.

  • You oversee all Food and Beverage outlets for Guests and Crew, ensuring proper setup and personnel grooming per company guidelines and product branding, while keeping the Hotel Director informed.
  • You oversee maintenance and repair activities within the F&B department, ensuring timely resolution and promptly notifying the Hotel Director or General Manager once issues are resolved.
  • You oversee the entire Food and Beverage operations cycle, from ordering and loading to storing, preparing, and delivering products. You also manage inventory, storage, and maintenance of all related equipment and supplies.
  • You will ensure proper implementation and ongoing compliance of Food and Beverage processes through regular audits of all outlets in line with Company procedures.
  • You collaborate with corporates to effectively implement the Performance Management process, ensuring objective and fair evaluations for all Supervisors and Managers.
  • You are responsible for effectively managing on‑board Food and Beverage revenues, achieving all related targets maximizing NPS and ensuring cost efficiency within company‑set targets.

  • You facilitate training and development opportunities to foster team members’ growth.
  • You drive the F&B team performance by setting clear objectives and ensuring exceptional service delivery to both internal and external guests, while taking ownership of operational issues.
  • You collaborate closely with corporate offices and the onboard team to continuously enhance product delivery.

Safety First:

  • You provide an excellent service ensuring full compliance with HACCP and USPH standards.
  • Your team operates in full adherence to occupational safety standards and regulations.

What makes you unique:

  • You master English and Italian at C1 level and a third language at B2 level.
  • You have 5/7 years of experience in F&B Management in multi‑outlet at least 4* chains and/or cruise vessels and a BS in Hospitality.
  • You have prior experience in business administration related to food cost and budgeting.
  • You master management‑level knowledge of USPH and HACCP standard.
