Our client is seeking a Nuclear Fluid Systems Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize fluid systems for nuclear facilities. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with reactor engineers and regulatory bodies.
The ideal candidate will have a Master’s in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering, 3–7 years of experience in fluid systems, and familiarity with ASME BPVC and NRC standards. Proficiency in CFD/FEA tools and strong problem-solving skills are required.

Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a related field.
3-7 years in fluid system design, thermal-hydraulic analysis, or nuclear plant operations (entry-level positions may require internships or co-op experience).
PE (Professional Engineer) license, ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) certification, or equivalent industry credentials.
In fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer principles.
In hydraulic modeling and simulation software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, STAR CCM+, Flowmaster).
Of nuclear reactor coolant systems, heat exchangers, and steam turbines.
With ASME BPVC, NRC regulatory requirements, and ANSI standards for nuclear fluid systems.
With computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA) is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with engineers, operators, and regulatory agencies.
A commitment to nuclear safety and compliance.
To work under pressure and manage multiple projects with strict deadlines.
Written and oral fluency in Italian.
Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
