Job summary

A reputable partner company in Italy is seeking hardworking, reliable, and physically fit individuals to join its team as Fish Processing Workers.The successful candidates will be responsible for handling and processing fresh seafood, including cutting, salting, smoking, packaging, and preparing finished products for distribution.The ideal candidates should be able to work in a food-processing environment, follow hygiene and food safety standards, and handle seafood products carefully to maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Handle and process fresh fish and other seafood according to company procedures.
• Cut, clean, sort, and prepare seafood products for further processing or packaging.
• Carry out salting and smoking processes as required to preserve and prepare seafood products.
• Package finished seafood products appropriately and ensure they are prepared for storage or distribution.
• Inspect seafood products for freshness, quality, and compliance with established standards.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment and follow food safety procedures.
• Load finished products onto pallets and assist with the movement of goods within the processing facility. Use processing tools and equipment safely and follow workplace safety instructions.
• Ensure processed products are properly arranged and handled according to company procedures.
• Work effectively with colleagues and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Follow all relevant safety procedures when handling sharp tools, machinery, seafood products, and heavy loads.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in Italian and English.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in a fish-processing and food-production environment.
• Willingness to work 10–12 hours per day, 5.5 days per week.
• Willingness to start work at 5:30 AM or undertake night shifts when required.
• Ability to follow food hygiene, safety, and quality-control procedures.
• Good attention to detail when handling, processing, and packaging seafood.
• Accommodation: Company dormitory provided and utilities are paid according to the applicable tariff.
• One meal provided during each work shift.
• One-year employment contract, with the possibility of extension.
• The ticket cost is refunded after four months, and return ticket paid at the end of the contract.
