Job summary

TMC in Milano is seeking an embedded firmware engineer to contribute across the full development cycle, from requirements analysis to validation on target hardware.

You will design, implement, and test C firmware for microcontroller platforms, and work on both bare-metal environments and RTOS-based systems, with a focus on motor control and real-time performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical requirements and functional specifications for embedded motor control systems.
• Design, develop, and test firmware in C for microcontroller-based platforms.
• Develop embedded software both in bare-metal environments and on operating-system-based architectures, including real-time systems.
• Implement and tune control algorithms for electric motors, working on actuation, feedback loops, and system performance optimisation.
• Perform firmware debugging, troubleshooting, integration, laboratory testing, and validation, working closely with Hardware, Electronics, and System Engineering teams.
