Transform the everyday with us. We are looking for a Junior Commissioning and Service Engineer for Fire Safety, Intrusion, Access Control and CCTV systems, to be hired with a permanent contract in our Services Smart Infrastructure division at our headquarters in Milan.

Siemens Smart Infrastructures acts as a technology partner service and product provider, and system integrator. We offer solutions and services related to personal safety, building security and automation, and climate management of environments.

Your challenge: With reference to Security and Safety products and systems, the role involves commissioning activities for new installations, and maintenance activities on existing sites. Activities will be performed at production sites or construction sites both in Italy and abroad. Job placement includes inside technical training, to be followed by on‑the‑job coaching with expert technicians. Opportunities are offered to grow professionally and technically in a dynamic, collaborative and highly professional environment.

  • Primarily performs technical tasks such as programming and commissioning of products and systems, integration of third‑party components into the Siemens BMS, and maintenance tasks.
  • Supports and commissions using innovative digital solutions and tools (developed by headquarters).
  • Provides support to customers remotely and on‑site and addresses arising issues.
  • Coordinates on‑site operations and delivery activities and controls the execution according to the organizational guidelines.
  • Ensures that the project follows execution best practices and Siemens policies, effectively monitoring and controlling project progress.
  • Might be involved in technical design and development for commissioning/service offerings.
  • Complies with health, safety and environmental rules and policies applicable to each location.

To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:

  • Technical High School Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Information technologies/Electrical/Automation Engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of the contents of UNI 9795 and 11224.
  • Knowledge of popular computer technologies: desktop and server Windows operating systems, IP networks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Knowledge and ability to read electrical panel diagrams.
  • Passion and preparedness to manage issues related to technological innovation, and to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong orientation to reach targets and customer satisfaction, initiative, autonomy, and team propensity.
  • Availability for frequent business trips on a national level, and sometimes also international.
  • Good knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to learn about new and innovative technologies.
  • Eligibility to work in Italy.
