UNICEF Innocenti, Florence, is seeking a hands-on finance professional to join the Office of Strategy and Evidence. The role covers transactional processing, budget monitoring, and financial controls to support UNICEF’s global programs.

The successful candidate will manage month-end activities, produce regular financial reports, and assist colleagues with process improvements in an international setting. Proficiency in English and Italian is required.

Competenze

• Secondary education completed.
• Minimum five years clerical experience in finance and accounting.
• Strong MS Office skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in English and Italian.
• Ability to adapt to new digital tools and technologies.
• ERP systems experience (SAP/Oracle) is a plus.

Mansioni

• Process financial transactions.
• Review invoices, payments, travel claims, advances and other financial transactions.
• Use SAP and UNICEF corporate systems to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
• Verify documentation and follow up on issues.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures; track spending against budgets and grants.
