In AWS Regions we develop strategies for infrastructure in new countries and we look 10+ years down the road, oversee current region build‑outs and review performance of existing regions through their life‑cycle. We work closely with senior leaders in cross‑functional partner organizations developing and reviewing the strategic multi‑billion infrastructure investments. You will drive strategic initiatives to improve the quality and timelines of business insights provided to AWS and Amazon leadership, including ongoing efforts around existing process improvements. This position will be responsible for driving financials that inform large investment decisions, supporting regions wide consolidation and advisory, and drive several AWS‑wide mechanisms in partnership with central and tech teams. The role also will influence improvement / optimization opportunities to improve the Region P&L. This role regularly interfaces with leaders of AWS Regions Finance, Infrastructure Finance, Accounting, New Region Strategy and Planning (NRSP) and provides business and financial insights on New Regions performance that gets reported to AWS and Amazon senior leadership.

The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market.
