A leading technology company seeks a candidate in Italy for a role focused on validating experiments and conducting customer training for automated liquid handling workstations. Responsibilities also include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting of instruments, and supporting sales efforts. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Genetics or Molecular Biology, possess strong interpersonal skills, and be willing to travel. Experience in sequencing or related areas is a plus.

• Some practical experience such as library preparation or sequencer operation is preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the appointed region and occasionally internationally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the experiment validation and customer training for Vazyme automated liquid handling workstation.
• Installation and maintenance of liquid handling workstation, extractor and qPCR.
• Troubleshoot issues related to instruments and the experiment of automated liquid handling workstation; perform preliminary on-site failure analysis to identify root cause and feedback to the corresponding company department or personnel.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Support sales efforts through technical presentations, customer management or organizing seminars.
• Act as a key contributor of customer feedback to marketing and product development teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Genetics, Molecular Biology or related subject. Sequencing academic/practical background or work experience, such as library preparation or sequencer operation, is preferred. Undergraduates with foundational knowledge and skills are welcome as well.
• Willingness to travel mainly within the appointed region. For training or occasional special calls, international traveling including China is required.
• Outstanding problem solving and interpersonal skills; demonstrated English written and verbal communication and training/presentation skills.
