PROGRESS GROUP in Bolzano/Italy seeks a Field Service Technician to perform maintenance and repair tasks on site, train customer personnel, and document work in detailed service reports. You will travel mainly within German-speaking countries and support the service team with hotline help and spare parts preparation.

Ideal candidates have a background in metalwork or mechanical engineering, or several years as a technician, with good German language skills.

Competenze

• Training in metalwork, mechanical engineering, mechanics or mechatronics, or several years of technician experience.
• Willingness to travel mainly within German-speaking countries.
• Good knowledge of the German language.

Mansioni

• You independently carry out maintenance and repair assignments and provide training to customer personnel when required.
• On site, you analyse technical issues, identify root causes and resolve them independently.
• You document your work in detailed service reports and keep the team in Bressanone informed.
• Between customer assignments, you support the service team in Bressanone with hotline support and spare parts preparation.

Your Responsibilities

• You independently carry out maintenance and repair assignments and provide training to customer personnel whenever required
• On site, you analyse technical issues, identify their root causes and resolve them independently
• You document your work in detailed service reports and keep your team in Bressanone informed at all times
• Between customer assignments, you support the service team in Bressanone with tasks such as hotline support and spare parts preparation

Your Skills

• Training in metalwork, mechanical engineering, mechanics, or mechatronics - alternatively several years of experience as a technician, mechanic, or similar role
• Willingness to travel (mainly within the German‑speaking countries)
• Good knowledge of the German language
