LHH is recruiting a Field Service Technician for biomethane plants in Italy. You will manage a portfolio of customers within your region, ensuring safe, reliable operations and acting as the technical contact.

Responsibilities include maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning support, and documenting service reports. Willingness to travel up to 10 overnight stays per month is required.

Competenze

• Qualified technician or degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience in industrial maintenance or field service.
• Strong understanding of electrical/mechanical systems.

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading international company operating in the renewable energy sector, specializing in innovative biomethane upgrading solutions.

As a Field Service Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of biomethane plants. Following a structured onboarding program, you will take ownership of a dedicated portfolio of customers within your assigned region, building long-term relationships and becoming their trusted technical point of contact.

Responsabilità

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance on biomethane upgrading plants.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, instrumentation, sensors, actuators, and field devices.
• Service compressors, pumps, valves, and other industrial equipment.
• Support plant commissioning, upgrades, and performance optimization activities.
• Complete digital service reports and technical documentation.
• Plan and prepare spare parts and materials required for scheduled maintenance.
• Provide technical support to customers while collaborating closely with the Service Manager and technical support teams.

Profilo

Requirements

• Technical qualification or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in industrial maintenance or field service.
• Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, variable frequency drives, instrumentation, and process control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel, with an average of up to 10 overnight stays per month.
• Valid driver's license and legal authorization to work in the country.
