Your opportunity

Sidel is looking for a Field Service Technician (FST) specialized on Automation; the main focus is the following: - Perform Installation, start-up, commissioning and test of the Sidel Equipment supplied to customer sites; - Perform technical assistance during and after the warranty period, carry out training and other after sales services of Sidel’s equipment installed at customer sites. - Finally, a good understanding of the customer needs is to be developed to provide objective advice and to ensure customer satisfaction.

Your Mission
  • Install, commission and test Sidel equipment, including single machines and complete production lines
  • Troubleshoot, prevent and adopt corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical and automated machines within high-speed production lines
  • Execute precise technical diagnostics, share feedback with internal support teams and propose corrective actions
  • Administrate equipment upgrades and optimisation, including hardware and software updates
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and technical support teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Train and empower client operators and maintenance technicians to ensure efficient equipment handling
  • Report after sales opportunities detected on Customer site;
  • Comply fully with Sidel and client safety rules, with clear communications throughout interventions
Your Profile
  • Qualifications: Technical degree (automation, mechatronics, electrotechnics, industrial maintenance…)
  • Strong technical curiosity and eagerness to learn continuously
  • Field experience preferred or strong motivation to learn on the job
  • Fluent in English, essential for working in a multicultural team
  • Willingness to travel extensively (often >80% of the time) and adapt to different international environments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service mindset
