Overview

Field Service Technician at JBT Corporation – a global leader in food and beverage technology. We inspire innovation by providing the full power of JBT to support our customers in sustainable, high‑quality production.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections, repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting in customer facilities;
  • Provide accurate and detailed service visit reports;
  • Provide technical support for all machinery, including advising on maintenance, spare parts, and upgrades; identify trends and share with manager;
  • Train customers on maintenance, operation, safety, and cleaning of machinery;
  • Participate in creating and applying working procedures for Service department tasks;
  • Respond to technical questions from customers, technicians, and sales team;
  • Identify sales opportunities to Sales departments, providing technical information and customer assistance.
Qualifications
  • 5 years’ experience in machine servicing within food processing plants (consider candidates with less experience);
  • Mechanical, electrical, electronic device expertise (PLC, HMI, VLT…);
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Outlook and Office;
  • Comfortable working remotely with access to remote support;
  • Enthusiastic about sharing best practices with a team;
  • Committed to delivering great customer service;
  • Excellent Italian and English language skills (Fluent Italian is a must);
  • Valid driving license.
Travel & Location
  • Italian and Greek customers and sporadic support EMEA colleague;
  • Flexible travel and working hours, including weekends;
  • Travelling minimum 80%.
