Job Description: Field Service Engineer at Afimilk

Afimilk, a global leader in dairy farming technology, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team. Afimilk provides innovative solutions for dairy herd management, enhancing farm efficiency, animal welfare, and milk quality.

Summary: As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting advanced dairy technology systems on farms. Your role involves working directly with farmers to ensure smooth operation of Afimilk products, troubleshooting issues, and providing user training. A strong technical problem-solving background and a customer-oriented approach are essential. Experience with agricultural or dairy farming equipment is advantageous but not mandatory.

This position is hands-on and involves frequent travel to farm locations. Afimilk offers competitive salaries, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to work with cutting-edge technology that is transforming the dairy industry.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide Tier 2 remote and onsite technical support within the CZ Republic and occasionally other EU locations
  • Travel extensively as required
  • Participate in global support team training and seminars overseas
Responsibilities:
  • Provide remote and onsite support as per EU support manager directives
  • Proactively monitor system performance (remote & onsite)
  • Deliver technical training and updates to Afimilk dealer technicians
  • Collaborate with dealers and the sales team to maximize sales opportunities
  • Support activity reporting in the Afimilk CRM system
  • Escalate issues to Tier 3 following SLA guidelines from HQ
  • Provide technical support to customers outside North Italy when needed
  • Assume full responsibility for Synergy technical support within 6 months of onboarding
