Overview
Field Service Engineer (FSE) in Italy (Milan or nearby areas).
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of dispatched customer issues.
- Support resources dispatched onsite by RFM during commissioning and on-site services.
- Support the RFM/PjM during commissioning and site acceptance services.
- Deliver support and contribute service solutions for our customers.
- Perform all on-site installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance and test tasks as well as upgrades or rework activities.
- Follow operational procedures, processes and practices as defined, documented and consistently applied.
- Follow applicable health and safety instructions and regulations.
- Ensure up-to-date documentation, work instructions and processes for existing and upcoming service contracts and agreements.
- Support Europe Service Management by feeding back frequent and analytical service reports with each job and make suggestions for corrective activities.
- Support resources dispatched onsite (FSE and SP) by RFM during commissioning and on-site services.
- Participate in the claim management and RMA process.
- Take care of service tools by ensuring an appropriate calibration process.
- Take on on-call duties on a rotating basis, partly on weekends and nights.
Your profile
- Education as Electrical technician or Engineer. Knowledge of ACDC, Low/Medium Voltage, electrical conduits.
- Italian & English language skills at least B2.
- Experience with Battery Storage solutions is beneficial.
- Experience dealing with customers in critical situations.
- Driving license is essential for the job.
- Health & Safety training to access construction sites with electrical-specific training.
- Willing to work on-call and travel (about 60%).
