The Field Service Engineer is responsible for activities such as installation and qualification, preventative maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs, as well as promoting service contracts and identifying opportunities that have a significant impact on the organization.

This position is part of the Biotechnology Integrated Solutions – Equipment Services team based in Italy (preferably in the Lombardy region) and will be fully remote. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapies from discovery to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company to our clients
• Plan and execute service activities at the customer's site
• Manage own stock and work orders
• Participate in sales opportunities and assist with promoting and implementing revenue programs

Essential Requirements

• Education: Majored in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer, Electronic or Automation or equivalent field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Technical skills: very good mechanical and electrical skills, experience troubleshooting
• English is required
• Ability to travel: 70 % travel and overnight stay within territory

Preferred Experience

• Biopharma or Biotechnologies Industry
• Computers (Windows OS, PC, server), networks and database
