Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is seeking reliable and safety-focused professional drivers to support a large-scale mapping data collection project in Italy. Drivers will operate client-provided vehicles with mapping equipment to collect high-quality street-level data across assigned zones.

Travel and extended hotel-based assignments are required. Candidates must maintain safety standards, coordinate with field coordinators, and work independently in the field as part of a distributed team.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of driving experience.
• At least 2 years of professional driving experience (e.g., taxi, delivery, logistics).
• Good English.
• Experience driving larger vehicles (vans, trucks) is strongly preferred.
• Defensive, calm, and safety-oriented driving style.
• Comfortable driving in high-traffic and stressful conditions.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation tools.
• Good knowledge of local roads, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns in the working country.
• Polite, professional, and respectful demeanor.
• Basic technical and mechanical knowledge (e.g., changing tires, reading vehicle gauges).
• High sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow operational procedures and safety guidelines.
• Strong time management and reliability.
• Comfortable working independently in the field.
• Willingness to travel and stay on assignment for extended periods.

Mansioni

• Safely operate client-provided vehicles equipped with mapping and data collection equipment.
• Collect mapping data within assigned zones efficiently and in compliance with project guidelines.
• Handle and protect all client-provided vehicles, devices, and equipment.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness and basic upkeep.
• Research and identify safe local parking locations to ensure vehicle and equipment security.
• Securely park, cover, and safeguard the vehicle daily at designated locations.
• Report and handle incidents, including traffic accidents and public interactions, in a professional manner.
• Coordinate daily activities, assignments, and issue resolution with the Camp Coordinator.
• Communicate technical, mechanical, or operational issues promptly.
• Meet daily and weekly delivery targets in collaboration with project coordinators.
• Travel long distances as required and work in “hotel mode” during assignments.
• Maintain accurate inventory and device logs in the designated system or application.
