A leading machinery provider is seeking a Field Commissioning Engineer in Parma to perform start-up and commissioning of high-complexity fillers. The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical Engineering, fluency in Italian and English, and experience in technical assistance. Responsibilities include onsite support during the warranty period and troubleshooting. This role offers opportunities for travel worldwide.

Competenze

Field Commissioning Engineer - Automation Filler

Your Opportunity

Field Commissioning Engineer will report to Field Commissioning Engineer Manager. The main focus of the role will be to perform start-up, commissioning and test of Sidel's high complex equipment supplied to customers' plants; provide technical assistance during and after warranty period of high complex machines and troubleshooting in case of technical issues; and support internal and external qualification of prototypes and technical modifications.

Your Mission

• Start up, commissioning, test and services on fillers of high complexity
• Technical assistance onsite during and after warranty period for high complex machines
• Intervention onsite in case of technical issues that require a specific RCA & troubleshooting
• Improve personal competences on complete combi, trade associated equipment and line equipment
• Support in the workshop for internal qualification of prototypes (run-off, assembly, test)
• Support onsite for external qualification of technical modifications and variants
• Responsible for equipment performances at customer plant, based on technical, contractual and safety specifications

Your Profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Technical professional qualification
• Fluency in Italian and in English is a must-have; a good level of French or other languages is a plus
• Experience in cabling and testing of complex machinery or field and service activities or technical assistance would be an advantage
• Deep knowledge of automation devices (PLC, HMI devices focused on motion control of main brands such as Allen-Bradley, Elau/Schneider Electric, B&R and Siemens) and communication networks
• Capable to manage stressful situations
• Organized, able to conceptualize ideas into professional reports
• Attitude to problem solving (troubleshooting and RCA) and customer oriented
• Good interpersonal skills, especially ability to communicate with different target groups (technicians, customers, etc.)
• No restrictions to traveling worldwide
