A leading technology company in Italy is seeking a Facilities Operations Centre Engineer to monitor their facilities infrastructure. You will coordinate with teams to enhance performance and communication protocols while supporting a 24x7 operational environment. Competenze

  • 2+ years of Electrical or Mechanical Experience.

  • 2+ years of Experience in Data Centre Engineering/Operations.

Mansioni

  • Monitors the data centre Amazon facilities infrastructure platform.
  • Serves as a Point of Contact for internal and external teams.
  • Assists with the development of communication and escalation protocols.
  • Contributes to outage post‑mortem analysis.
  • Ensures records are updated in a timely manner.

Key job responsibilities
  • Monitors the data centre Amazon facilities infrastructure platform
  • Serves as a Point of Contact for internal and external teams
  • Assists with the development of communication and escalation protocols designed to improve the team’s performance
  • Contributes to outage post‑mortem analysis
  • Ensures records are updated in a timely manner
  • Assists with coordination and communication during emergency recovery efforts
  • Assists with the development of tools that will enhance the team’s performance
  • Supports a 24x7 environment (shift work may require weekends and holidays)

Hold or be able to attain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance (see AGSVa).

Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Electrical or Mechanical Experience
  • 1+ year of experience working with Building and/or Electrical Platform Management Systems
  • 2+ years of Experience in Data Centre Engineering/Operations
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years’ experience working in a large‑scale data centre and 3+ years’ experience in a NOC or similar
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Access)
  • Ability to maintain SLAs through proactive issue detection and reporting tools; ability to follow and complete support procedures, system documentation, issue‑tracking entries, root‑cause analysis, and complex problem‑solving skills
