We are delighted to invite expression of interest for teacher/educator opportunities at Edge Academy Milan.

We are looking to appoint founding KS2 Educators with an appetite for innovation to help bring this model to life. We will begin recruiting for roles within our founding team from April 2026.

WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DIFFERENT

Morning: Academic Mastery

Mornings focus on mastery of Mathematics, Reading, Science, Languages and Computing, fully aligned to the English National Curriculum. They are delivered in a focused, high-intensity morning block of approximately three hours, leveraging adaptive technology and expert teaching to maximise learning efficiency.

You will:

• Design and maintain clear KS2 progression pathways
• Define mastery benchmarks and non-negotiables
• Use live data to identify and close gaps quickly
• Ensure automaticity, depth and secondary readiness

Afternoons translate knowledge into action. Projects. Public speaking. Leadership. Entrepreneurship. Real problems. Real audiences. Real outcomes.

You will:

• Lead structured, high-energy life-skills workshops
• Coach every child to speak with clarity and confidence
• Develop resilience, ownership and goal-setting
• Facilitate projects culminating in tangible outputs
• Build a culture where effort and excellence are unmistakable

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Curriculum Architect

• Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum
• Experience across Years 3-6
• Able to design progression and identify conceptual gaps
• Confident using data and assessment intelligently
• Phase or curriculum leadership experience desirable

Coach & Culture Builder

• Strong presence and clarity of communication
• Comfortable leading groups dynamically
• Background in sport, performing arts, youth leadership or coaching welcomed
• Able to motivate without micromanagement
• You hold high standards - calmly and consistently.
