As an Environmental Studies Expert, you will join Eni Rewind SpA. Specifically, the Hydrogeology and Groundwater Modeling team focuses on hydrogeology, groundwater numerical modeling, and data management.

Main activities

• Visualization, management, processing, interpretation and synthesis of environmental data, mainly hydrochemical and hydrogeological, with the aid of the main GIS software (QGIS, ArcGis) and related databases (such as Access and Oracle)
• Hydrochemical analysis and identification of contaminant degradation processes, knowledge and application of specific analytical protocols for monitoring natural attenuation
• Hydraulic efficiency analysis of Pump&Treat systems, analysis of capture areas
• Design, planning, supervision and interpretation of pumping tests
• Geostatistical analysis of environmental data aimed at designing cartographic documents and contour maps such as reconstructions of the piezometric surface and the topographic surface
• Drafting and reviewing periodic groundwater monitoring reports, hydrogeological and hydrogeochemical studies
• Drafting and reviewing technical specifications for the installation, grouting, and maintenance of wells and piezometers, and for performing pumping tests.
• Supervision and coordination of engineering companies within existing framework contracts;

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Geological Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Sciences. Other qualifications, including lower qualifications, may be considered based on significant experience in the field.
• At least 3 years of experience in environmental geology/hydrogeology
• Knowledge of hydrogeology and hydrochemistry
• Basic knowledge of numerical modeling of groundwater
• Knowledge of GIS environment programming with cartographic reconstructions, contamination trends
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Availability for national and international mobility at Eni Rewind sites and related customers
